Cytus knows just how important the details of sample management are. We give each project the personal, professional attention it deserves – doing whatever it takes to create a seamless connection between manufacturer and retailer. The typical flow of work includes: Project Scheduling: Client contacts Cytus regarding a new project, supplying key details such as customer timelines, special requirements, description of samples, number of items in each shipment, etc. Receipt: On arrival of goods, Cytus assigns a barcode and enters each item into our tracking system Notification: Cytus notifies manufacturer and retailer of receipt, confirming delivery date and location of delivery Delivery: Cytus delivers goods to their next destination – directly to retailer or to Cytus warehouse, as required; all movement of goods requires a barcode scan, tracking location at all times Assembly: If required, Cytus will open packages and assemble goods As long as the item is active, Cytus continues to manage its movements and storage. We collect samples from location, assemble and disassemble, store and deliver throughout the process. Disposition: When the sample is no longer needed, Cytus closes it out of our system and produces a final report When the Unexpected Happens Any project can have its emergencies. Cytus does whatever it takes to achieve success for customers. We meet 6 a.m. flights to deliver samples in time for 7 a.m. meetings. We meet rail deliveries at 5 p.m. on Friday afternoons.
